Lewandowski shares happy vacation photos amid speculation on Barcelona's move

Poland's star striker, Robert Lewandowski, seems happy on vacation despite the challenges hindering his desired move to Barcelona this summer.

The Bayern Munich's super striker has been one name among strikers deemed available in the current summer transfer window after clearly expressing his desire to leave the German Bundesliga side.

Robert Lewandowski, 33, has been one of the best strikers in the world since moving to Bayern Munich in 2014 from Borrusia Dortmund, having scored 344 goals in 375 appearances in all competitions for the Bavarians.

He has been a pivotal part of Bayern Munich's success in his eight seasons at the club, scoring over 40 goals in all competitions in the last seven seasons.

Following an undisclosed dispute between him and Bayern Munich, Lewandowski has demanded to leave Allianz Arena having won everything, including a Champions League trophy, eight Bundesliga trophies and many more.

Following his intention to leave, Barcelona has made several contacts and reached a verbal agreement with the Polish man over a move to La Liga, but Lewandowski faces a dilemma over his wish as Bayern are unwilling to let him go.

Bayern's football executive, Oliver Kahn, has severally stated the club's intention of keeping Lewandowski as he has a contract that runs until 2023.

"Lewandowski has a contract until 2023, and we expect to see him on the first day of pre-season," Oliver Kahn stated. "The situation hasn't changed. Robert has a contract with us for another year, and we're happy when he joins us for the first day of training. "

Despite this obstacle to joining Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski seems not to be affected by Bayern's decision after sharing a happy photo of his vacation with his former teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger, enjoying a lawn tennis game.

The super striker had remained optimistic about moving to Barcelona when he reiterated his intention to join Barcelona this summer.

"My era at Bayern is over," Lewandowski said last month on international duty with Poland. I don't see any possibility of continuing playing for this club anymore.
